News: Several experiments around the paper, voice and movement gave birth to a writing project for a solo show. Accompanied by the Movement Theater in Paris and then in residence at La Cimenterie / Company Samba'L in August 2009. The project is progressing and will be launched in early 2010.

Paper Woman on the thread of her life.

She escapes from the paper sheet and borrows various languages : Voice,paper musicality, graphics and movement.

A journey into the unexpected, yet so familiar.

Paper Woman, a journey in imaginary anthropology...

Giving way to a strange universe of sensations, brought tolife in an unusual context. An invitation to take different ways to see and hear. Letting go beyond the rational.

From chanted recitation, a syllable, a word, a phrase break free to the unexpected.

The voice raises the body, movements and paper are writing their own story.

A transe from within welcomes all kinds of emotions, the ones we know, and the others.

 

 

Recitations, writing process

Initially, a body part is chosen: head, pelvis, sex ... then a series of words is listed according to a shared musicality, in counterpoint, resonance or opposition: Basin, bastille, bullshit, barbarian, shock, ventricular, sucker ...

Here comes the automatic writing, facing the hazard of the stage, the improvisation, the movement. Which character? Which approach? Which move are appearing?

Round trip between spontaneous improvisation and composition analysis. Last legs in improvisation, mixing writing with other ingredients coming from elsewhere. Other language that leave their mark. "In these recitations, there is painting, dance, accordion ... "
